Hi,We have two TS350SE access points and one is located outside in a cabinet (AP-1) and hard to connect to the other one by cable. I gave the outside unit a factory reset (firmware version is the same as the local unit) and added it's serial number to zero touch mesh in the Root AP. I can see in the zero touch mesh screen that it status is joined, but the access point is seen as disconnected in the Access Points screen, and the system log tells:Root AP accepts MESH connectionConnection request from AP-1 is refused, Unleashed does not support discovery across subnets.Does anybody know how we can resolve this?

Hello everyone,We’re in the process of migrating from a SmartZone 100 (running version 3.5.1.0.862) to a vSZ-E deployment. Our goal is to support both legacy Wi-Fi 6 access points (H500, R500, R510, R600, R700, T300, R350, R550) and new Wi-Fi 7 APs (R770).We're facing some challenges and would appreciate insights from those who have handled similar migrations. Specifically, we’re looking for the best approach to migrate or re-deploy the environment while keeping all APs operational and minimizing downtime.Would you recommend:Upgrading the existing controller and doing a full backup/restore into vSZ?Starting fresh with a new vSZ deployment and migrating APs zone by zone?Any specific firmware path or version to ensure compatibility with both AP generations? Thanks in advance for your guidance!

Good afternoon,We have a Smartzone 100, but unfortunately, it broke. By connecting the disk to another machine, I was able to retrieve the last backup I made. We'd like to import this into a virtual Smartzone we're already running. However, it turns out I can't import the backup into it.Can you help me with this?Sincerely,Martijn

Hi all,We're transitioning from Cisco 5500 WLCs to Ruckus (vSZ-E 6.1, hosted in Azure) and have set up a Guest Access captive portal with "Always Accept" for our Guest SSID where user has to accept terms and conditions for internet access. It’s mostly working, but we’re facing a few issues:Mobile Redirect – Windows devices redirect fine, but iOS/Android users aren't redirected automatically. Is there a fix for this?SSL Certificate Warning – Since the portal is served by the AP (AP's local IP), users see a "connection not private" warning. How can we use a public cert with APs to avoid this?Portal Hosting from vSZ – Ideally, we’d like to server the portal from the APs as we do not want the Guest to break when controller goes down, if using controller to host the portal is the only way then the guest VLAN is isolated and has no access to vSZ (in Azure). What are our options here? We do not have any domain associated with our our vSZ-ERuckus documentation hasn’t been very clear on these. Would this be worth opening a support ticket for?
