The European School Frankfurt (ESF), part of a network of 13 official European Schools across six countries, is home to 1,600 students in a multilingual, multicultural environment. With instruction offered in German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish, ESF is committed to delivering international education in a digitally forward setting.
As the number of connected devices and educational applications increased, ESF’s legacy Wi-Fi struggled to keep pace, impacting both classroom learning and day-to-day school operations. To address these challenges, the school turned to RUCKUS® solutions to modernize its network infrastructure.
Working with experienced RUCKUS partner Häusler KG, ESF implemented next-generation RUCKUS access points equipped with BeamFlex+® adaptive antenna technology. Combined with centralized WLAN controllers, the solution provided high-density coverage and streamlined management, ensuring seamless performance across the entire campus.
The result: a fast, stable, and future-proof digital backbone supporting uninterrupted lessons, administrative efficiency, and the evolution of digital learning. The project was completed on schedule, with zero disruption to students and staff.
“We are now well-positioned to both organize school operations efficiently and actively support the digital transformation in the classroom,” said Oliver Kurz, IT System Administrator at ESF.
