Wi-DAS uses Passpoint®/Hotspot 2.0 technology to seamlessly transition clients from cellular over to the Wi-Fi network. The client can then use Wi-Fi calling to place voice calls or use data connection the same as when they’re outdoor on the cellular network. RUCKUS has built Ameriband’s Wi-DAS profile into RUCKUS One thereby reducing the burden on customers to perform any additional configurations. Together with RUCKUS solutions, Wi-DAS offers an excellent and cost-effective way to extend cellular coverage indoors without the need for expensive DAS systems.
