Hello,I just took over a ruckus network and I am trying to create a new vlan that needs access to the internet. I built vlan 215 the same as several of the preexisting vlans that are working and have access to the internet but still can't reach out. I wasn't sure if I was missing something or if there is possibly an issue with the firewall. Host on vlan 215 are able to reach the dhcp server and grab a lease. I have checked the firewall and don't believe it to be an issue there but not certain. I have included below the configuration I thought would be helpful but I'm still learning so please let me know if you need something else.ve 202 is working. ve 215 is the new one that is not working. VE 202 is in ospf area 0 but it doesn't look like ospf is in use.show ip route outputDestination Gateway Port Cost Type Uptime1 0.0.0.0/0 10.9.100.240 ve 100 1/1 S 28d3h28 10.9.202.0/24 DIRECT ve 202 0/0 D 28d3h33 10.9.215.0/24 DIRECT ve 215 0/0 D 3d19hSSH@STC-CN-129-BCS#show running-config vlan 202vlan 202 name by porttagged ethe 1/1/15 lag 6 to 8router-interface ve 202spanning-tree 802-1wspanning-tree 802-1w priority 0multicast version 2!!SSH@STC-CN-129-BCS#show running-config vlan 215vlan 215 name by porttagged lag 6 to 8router-interface ve 215spanning-tree 802-1wspanning-tree 802-1w priority 0multicast version 2SSH@STC-CN-129-BCS#show running-config int ve 100interface ve 100port-name VL100ip address 10.9.100.1 255.255.255.0!SSH@STC-CN-129-BCS#show running-config int ve 202interface ve 202port-name VL202ip address 10.9.202.1 255.255.255.0ip helper-address 1 10.9.50.71 unicastip ospf area 0!SSH@STC-CN-129-BCS#show running-config int ve 215interface ve 215ip address 10.9.215.1 255.255.255.0ip helper-address 1 10.9.50.71 unicast

Hello,I need to move from switch to router code on a stack of ICX 7550s. Current software is 8095g and that wont be changing just moving to the router code version. Before this is done, I was wondering what the impact will be on the current configuration? Will all of the configuration transfer over? I am assuming it will but wanted to try and verify that before I make the change. Thanks

I need help, I have 3 R610 at my business, the guy I had set these up is no longer with me, I cannot access them to connect so I did a hard reset on 1 of them, now I don’t see the network SSID in the list and I cannot connect to it to reconfigure it. What do I need to do?

Hello Community,My name is Emmanuel Katto. I am currently managing a Ruckus SmartZone deployment and am looking for guidance on configuring network segmentation and security policies effectively. Our environment consists of multiple user groups, including staff, guests, and IoT devices, and I want to ensure that each segment is isolated while still allowing necessary connectivity for operations. Here are the specifics of my setup:We have multiple access points configured under a single SmartZone controller. Our authentication method for staff is WPA2-Enterprise, while guests are using a captive portal with a guest access VLAN.I want to ensure that staff, guest, and IoT devices are isolated from each other to minimize security risks. I’m considering using VLANs for this but would like advice on the best practices for implementation. I also want to Implement firewall rules or access control lists (ACLs) within SmartZone to regulate the traffic between these VLANs while allowing necessary services (like guest internet access and staff email).Questions:What are the recommended steps for configuring VLANs in the Ruckus SmartZone for user segmentation? How can I best configure SmartZone's firewall rules to restrict access between these VLANs effectively? Are there any reporting templates or tools built into SmartZone that can help monitor traffic across these segments?Any guidance, documentation, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!Emmanuel Katto

Hi, I tried to use the IP address that I set up to access my Zone Director 1200. The page remains blank. It shows "https://192.168.11.10/_.html"in the browser bar. The IP address was correct and it was working before. Asking for help on what I should do before performing a F/D reset. Thanks!
