Description
This eLearning (online) training course is a general introduction to vCCAP Evo, CommScope’s cloud-native, highly-scalable and highly-available Converged Cable Access Platform. Students will become familiar with the vCCAP Evo design, architecture, and available features, such as High Availability.
Audience
CATV head-end personnel, network engineers, and field personnel responsible for networks that provide high-speed data-over-cable services.

- Have a basic understand of how video is configured with the vCCAP.
- Realize how the vCCAP EVO is be designed to allow redundancy.

Course Specifics
Prerequisites: A basic understanding of CATV systems, RF plant fundamentals and data networking.
Students should have a solid understanding of DOCSIS, such as the information contained in the CommScope TEC301 and TEC302 training courses. Also recommended is a prior understanding or working knowledge of an I-CCAP CMTS, such as the C100G or E6000 CER.
