Integer overflow in the strxfrm function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.21 allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a long string, which triggers a stack-based buffer overflow.
Brocade is investigating its product lines to determine which products may be affected by this vulnerability and the impact on each affected product.
Products Confirmed Not Vulnerable
Brocade Fabric OS, Brocade FastIron OS, Brocade NetIron OS, Brocade Network OS, Brocade ServerIron ADX, and Brocade Virtual Web Application Firewall are confirmed not affected by this vulnerability.
There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
